Valcor recognize that the director of Alternative
Business Consulting, Mark Wadforth, has provided many paths
to continuing excellence in the workplace. Forming a partnership
in 2002, we collectively developed new technology to refine
existing processes and reduce cycle times as part of an effective
improvement program lead by our teams.
This program meant the ongoing cost reductions in sale pricing
consolidated with better tooling to improve tool life and performance.
Marks determination to drive value through the client and its
employees made this a lucrative and viable agreement for both
parties.
By effectively increasing rates of production, and improving
yield, it delivered a larger margin and opportunity for growth
to the client base.
This growth turned around the culture and performance of the
client, and assured a reduced manufacturing time and potential
to develop new contracts.
Valcor assisted this enterprise with added services, to ensure
the best possible outcome. We designed and developed a range
of new tooling, and supported the projects through the trial
periods. Collectively, the partnership collated data and monitored
the improvements.
The benchmark was current expenditure and usage, against number
of components produced. This was used as the measurement against
the trials and provided comparative data.
